The centre provides a wide range of services in keeping with its objective of providing a system for settlement of disputes for parties engaged in trade, commerce and investment within the region.
- To promote and develop private dispute settlement mechanisms such as arbitration and mediation in the region;
- Administration of commercial arbitration and mediation;
- Appointment of arbitrators and mediators;
- The improvement of the standards of skill and expertise of arbitrators and those involved in alternative means of dispute resolution in the Arab countries.
- Organization of seminars on commercial arbitration and mediation;
- Provision of training and accreditation;
- Networking with various international arbitration and ADR centers;
- Information on arbitration agreements, rules and arbitration law and practice.
